Vintage Jennings'T-Star Target' Compound Bow Right-Handed- 40-50# draw weight(adjustable) 28-30' draw(adjustable) approx. 50% letoff- 44' axle to axle The bow seems in good mechanical condition(probably should have string replaced) and very good cosmetic condition for it's age(has some minor marks/scratches from normal use and there are some minor stress lines in the glass on the limbs) Note: Currently set at 48# and 29' draw. This is a real piece of archery history, and is one of the first compound bows made in the early 1970's. An internet search for'Jennings Bow of the Future' will bring up some interesting history. It is in very good condition considering age. Appears to be missing accessories such as sights(did they even have sights back then? Arrow rest, etc.
Essentially it is naked, but all of the pulleys and string are present and intact. Wood is in very good condition for it's age and does not appear. To have been refinished or modified. I cannot find any markings other than the tags in the photos. This bow is probably set up right around 50 pounds for I would say a 29 inch draw because it fits me and I have a 29 inch draw.
This bow is Right Hand. It is 48 inches long. The string and cable look good to me. It has kind of a little flipper rest on it. It has a Cobra cable rod on it. This bow could use a little cleaning.
This bow does have a grip but someone put tape around it maybe because it is loose or something. This would make a good bow for carp shooting.

What you are looking at here is an original JENNINGS compound produced in the early 70's. The bow will have a 25% let off The poundage range? 50 to 60+ pounds. And a draw length adjustment? Of 29 t0 31 inches.This bow has obviously been used quite a lot because, most of the camo paint is worn off on the handle section.
The bow is in real good shape for being over 40 years old. The cables are original and appear to be good with no broken strands, the cable on the upper limb just above the T is exposed abt. Which was normal for these early cabled bows) The original bow quiver is solid but the hood does have a 1. 1/2 inch crack in the plastic at the metal mount and should not effect the function of the hood. The drilling and routing of the handle section for the arrow plate is the only real cosmetic damage. Should not affect the.

Vintage Jennings Compound Bow With Browning Leather Case The bow has a round Plate on it that indicates their 25th Anniversary. 1954- 1979 So I am assuming this bow was made in 1979. I shot this bow and it seems to work just fine. It comes with 7 wooden arrows 31' long It is in very good condition considering its age. Some minor scratches are visible from use and there is a small amount of rust on a couple of screws.
But those can be replaced. Draw length is around 28' to 31' I do not know the draw weight. But the limbs are backed off all the way. The limbs appear to be in very good condition and are sound. It was definitely stored properly.
I found this bow in a storage locker I purchased. So not a lot is known about it. The more interesting part of this deal is the bow case. It is made by Browning and is 100%. The foam on the inside is loose and separated from the case. But could be replaced fairly easily. The case itself is in really good condition.
The zippers work and it is really nice. There are some small white specs on it. Not sure what the specs are and I haven't really tried to get them off. But they are not that noticeable. I think the case is even older than the bow and I cannot find another one like it.
